Our client, a leading distribution operations environment, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services team supporting facility automation maintenance. The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, mechanically inclined, and able to communicate clearly while working on preventive maintenance and repairs for automation equipment.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician -

Location: York, PA 

Pay Range: $20-21/hr

Shift: 4pm - 2:30am (Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed OR Wed/Thur/Fri/Sat)

What's the Job?

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on automation machines that process items for distribution.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and complete repairs.
  • Review assigned work orders and coordinate with available systems to track completion.
  • Support energy management by helping ensure automation equipment is operating efficiently.
  • Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations, following established procedures.

What's Needed?

  • Basic maintenance skills with a mechanically inclined mindset.
  • Safety-conscious approach, including the ability to follow Lockout/Tagout practices.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; 0-2 years of job-related experience (a combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a diploma).
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook) to support work order and documentation needs.
