Audio-Visual Technician

Our client, Audio-Visual Services is seeking a Audio-Visual Technician to join their team. As a Audio-Visual Technician, you will be part of the AV Operations team supporting live events, presentations, and digital signage environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong troubleshooting mindset, reliable communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.

Job Title: Audio-Visual Technician

Location: Monterey, CA

Pay Range: $28.50/ Hourly

Shift: Monday- Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Troubleshoot and repair AV equipment including digital signage, displays, speakers, microphones, interactives, and more
• Respond to technical support calls and provide quick, practical solutions
• Support live events, presentations, performances, and streaming setups
• Set up and break down AV equipment for special events and programs
• Assist with installing and configuring new AV hardware, plus perform routine maintenance such as replacing batteries, cleaning equipment, and testing systems

What's Needed?

• Associate degree in AV Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining AV systems
• Strong computer skills (Mac & PC) and basic networking knowledge
• Interest in electronics, carpentry, fabrication, or soldering
• Valid California Driver's License (or ability to obtain one)
