IT Support Specialist

Our client is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have basic code knowledge, Windows environment knowledge and analytical skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  IT Support Specialist

Location:  McAllen, TX

Pay Range:  $20.00

What’s the Job?

• Provide first-level technical support to employees to document work through the trouble-ticket system
• Assist employees with account set up, password resets, permissions and routine Active Directory tasks under the direction of the Systems Administrator
• Perform basic network troubleshooting, including checking physical connections, IP configuration, wireless connectivity, switches and connected devices
• Other duties as assigned

What’s Needed?

• Associates in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Networking, Web Development, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, techanical training, certifications, and relevant experience
• 1 year in technical support, computer maintenance, web development, or related experience preferred
• Strong computer and internet skills
• Basic knowledge of PHP, MySol, HTML, and CSS
• Valid driver's license
