Training and Development Advisor II

Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a Training and Development Advisor II to join their team. As a Training and Development Advisor II, you will be part of the Learning & Development department supporting technical teams and operational staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead the development, implementation, and assessment of outcome-based training programs tailored for specific client groups.
• Manage the creation, review, and update of competency models and learning plans to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to develop engaging training content using Articulate 360 Suite (including Storyline and RISE).
• Build and manage learning management system (LMS) learning plans, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of training activities.
• Promote a learning culture by encouraging competency development and continuous improvement across teams.

What's Needed?

• Degree in adult learning, education, or a related technical field.
• 4-7 years of experience in leadership or training development, especially supporting technical employees.
• Proficiency in Articulate 360 Suite (including Storyline and RISE) is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and content creation tools is an asset.
