Food Service Workers - Cooks, Grill Cooks, Dish room & Cafeteria Attendants

Location: Huntington, WV
Starting Pay: $13.00 per hour
Schedule: Varies by position and may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Manpower is hiring Food Service Workers for a busy cafeteria operation in Huntington, WV!

We are looking for dependable individuals for multiple food service positions, including:

• Cooks
• Grill Cooks
• Dish room Workers
• Cafeteria Attendants

These are temp-to-hire opportunities with the potential for long-term employment. All positions start at $13.00 per hour through Manpower, with an increase in pay once hired permanently by the client. These positions also become UNION positions once hired on permanently.

What You'll Do

Duties will vary depending on the position and may include:

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications
• Operate grills and other kitchen equipment
• Serve food and assist customers in the cafeteria
• Set up and maintain food service stations
• Stock food, beverages, utensils, and other supplies
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Deep clean kitchen equipment and work areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist with other food service duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Previous cooking, food service, dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, or cafeteria experience preferred
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced food service environment
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work the schedule required for the position, including weekends when scheduled
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Food Safety Certification may be obtained during training
