Our client, the hospitality industry, is seeking a Summer Pantry Worker for Private Club to join their team. As a Summer Pantry Worker for Private Club, you will be part of the Food Service Department supporting culinary and hospitality teams. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Summer Pantry Worker for Private Club

Location: Big Bay, MI

Pay Range: $15.50 per Hour

Shift: Varies

What's the Job?

  • Assist with food preparation and food safety procedures
  • Prepare complex bagged lunches for 15-300 guests
  • Support the team in menu planning and ordering supplies
  • Supervise staff during food preparation activities
  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen

What's Needed?

  • Some limited experience in food service preferred
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Availability to work evening shifts and early mornings
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Seasonal job, summer months. 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day, shift times vary. Half hour lunch break  for straight shift,  if it’s a split they get 15 minutes. 2 days off a week, we try to have those days together unless requested otherwise.
  • Starts mid-June with 2 weeks of training at 20 hours per week, then moves to 40 hours per week. Runs through end of August/early September. Possibly through mid-October depending on business.
    Room and board are available for $10/week. The housing is dorm-style so there would be a roommate and a shared bathroom. Not required to live on site but with the lengthy commute and high gas prices we do recommend it!
