Distribution Team Lead

Our client, distribution and logistics operations team is seeking a UPS - St george to join their team. As a UPS - St george, you will be part of the warehouse operations department supporting distribution and fulfillment workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, hands-on leadership experience, and a commitment to accurate inventory and reliable shipping/receiving performance, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations as a working lead to keep workflow moving in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Lead and support warehouse associates by monitoring productivity and quality standards throughout the shift.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control to maintain accurate records and smooth order flow.
• Promote and enforce safety procedures while helping ensure compliance across day-to-day activities.
• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to support inventory accuracy, resolve workflow issues, and escalate concerns as needed.

What's Needed?

• 2+ years of warehouse leadership experience, including experience supporting teams in a distribution center setting.
• Inventory control and shipping/receiving knowledge with a focus on accuracy and process discipline.
• Experience with WMS and RF scanners (preferred) to track work, maintain inventory records, and support operational reporting.
• Ability to train, coach, and lead by example while maintaining quality and productivity expectations.
• Comfort working in a warehouse environment and supporting peak season demands, including overtime when required.
