Quality Control

Our client, a leading organization in the life sciences and quality environment, is seeking a Quality Control to join their team. As a Quality Control, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting quality testing and documentation across laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Title: Quality Control

Location: Cockeysville, MD

Pay Range: $27.10

Shift: First shift 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM (flexible start time). May require overtime as needed (possibly Saturdays).

What's the Job?

• Perform routine and non-routine quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and product specifications.
• Safely handle hazardous materials, including chemicals and infectious agents, by following company safety policies and procedures.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to support accurate testing and reliable performance.
• Accurately document test results, observations, and activities in laboratory records, test sheets, and electronic systems such as SAP.
• Support investigations of out-of-specification (OOS) results by identifying potential root causes and contributing to corrective action recommendations.

What's Needed?

• Laboratory-related certificate from an accredited institution.
• Understanding of GMP/GDP/GLP regulations and quality management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate, complete records (including detailed handwritten records).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving, trouble-shooting, and communication skills.
