Quality Inspector

Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting inspection and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Range:  $20.33

Shift: 12-hour rotating shift from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM

What's the Job?

• Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to inspection plans and specifications
• Conduct visual inspections and basic functional testing using microscopes, calipers, and micrometers
• Support the paper document archival process, including preparing pallets for shipment and scanning documents for electronic storage
• Initiate Non-Conformance reports and support CAPA activities as needed
• Work on special projects as they arise, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AA or Technical Degree preferred
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry
• Good written and oral communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
• Knowledge of medical device regulations and FDA standards is a plus
• Ability to perform inspection tasks using microscopes, calipers, and micrometers
