Quality Lab Technician

Our client, a local leader in food manufacturing, is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to join their team. As a Quality Lab Technician, you will be part of the Quality team supporting production operations.

Job Title: Quality Lab Technician

Location: Elk Rapids, MI

Pay Range: $17.00- $20.00 per hour, based on experience

Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

• Follow a recipe card carefully to support consistent product quality.
• Complete quality assurance checks every 30 minutes to verify products meet standards.
• Communicate in detail with the line supervisor and Quality Assurance Supervisor when a quality assurance check is not within range per the recipe card.
• Assist with performing regular audits to ensure products comply with company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth operations.

What's Needed?

• Excellent attention to detail to catch issues early and maintain quality.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift 8-10 lbs daily.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for accurate reporting and clear updates.
• Willingness to learn food production processes and quality expectations.
• Organized, effective time management and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
