Location: Faribault, MN
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: M-F, 12:00pm–8:30pm (may include weekend rotation 8:45am–5:30pm and holidays 7:45am–4:30pm; overtime possible based on patient volume)

As a Phlebotomist working a closing shift in an urgent care environment, you play a key role in ensuring patients receive timely, accurate testing before the day ends. Your ability to deliver high-quality specimen collection while maintaining a calm, professional presence directly impacts patient experience and care outcomes.

What You'll Do
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric
• Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of specimens in the patient’s presence
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and required records
• Create a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients
• Support urgent care operations and remain flexible when patient volume requires extended coverage

What We're Looking For
• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to support multiple locations as needed
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to meet compliance requirements including immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and TB test required; COVID and Flu strongly recommended)
