Pay Rate: $25/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: 7:30am-4:30pm

As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in the patient experience by ensuring accurate specimen collection and processing. Your attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to build patient trust directly contribute to timely and reliable diagnostic testing.

What You'll Do

  • Collect blood specimens from patients using established phlebotomy procedures
  • Perform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood collections
  • Verify patient demographics and obtain required patient signatures to ensure specimen accuracy
  • Label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all safety and quality standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service while creating a positive patient experience
  • Travel between locations as needed to support operational and staffing requirements

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Strong specimen collection and processing skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Keyboard and data entry experience
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Previous Patient Service Center experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license when applicable
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts as needed
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
