Pay Rate: $25/hr
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

As a Phlebotomist, you play a critical role in delivering accurate diagnostic testing and exceptional patient care. Your expertise in specimen collection, attention to detail, and commitment to quality help ensure a positive patient experience and reliable laboratory results.

What You'll Do

  • Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric blood collections with accuracy and professionalism
  • Collect, process, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
  • Verify patient demographic information and obtain required patient acknowledgements to ensure specimen integrity
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Provide excellent customer service while creating a welcoming and professional environment for patients
  • Support both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing as required
  • Travel to multiple Patient Service Center and/or physician office locations as needed
  • Work independently while effectively managing priorities in a high-volume environment

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Minimum of 2 years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred
  • Strong customer service experience in a retail, healthcare, or service environment preferred
  • Keyboarding and data entry experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable
  • Flexibility to support staffing needs, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
