Location: Columbia, MO

Pay Rate: $28/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour shifts between 6:30am-5:30pm

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric blood collections with precision and care
• Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
• Verify patient demographic information and obtain required patient acknowledgements to ensure specimen integrity
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Provide outstanding customer service while creating a welcoming and professional environment for patients
• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties
• Travel between multiple Patient Service Center and/or physician office locations as needed
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional workspace

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Minimum of 2 years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Strong customer service experience in a retail, healthcare, or service environment preferred
• Keyboarding and data entry experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable
• Flexibility to travel to multiple locations and accommodate changing staffing needs
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
