Pay Rate: $24.95-$26.75 per hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM

As a Phlebotomist III - Floater, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care while ensuring accurate specimen collection and processing. Your expertise will directly support timely and reliable diagnostic testing across multiple patient service locations.

What You'll Do

  • Collect blood specimens using venipuncture, capillary, and other approved collection techniques
  • Perform pediatric, geriatric, and adult specimen collections with accuracy and professionalism
  • Process, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
  • Verify patient identity, demographics, and specimen labeling accuracy
  • Maintain required documentation and records while adhering to confidentiality standards
  • Travel between patient service centers and physician office locations as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service while creating a positive and professional patient experience
  • Support both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Medical assistant, paramedic, or related medical training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Minimum of 2 years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and data entry skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple locations and work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements including immunizations (MMR, TDAP, Varicella, COVID, Flu, TB)
  • Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
