Facilities Maintenance Technician

Our client is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities team supporting day-to-day site operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, hands-on multi-skilled maintenance capability, and the drive to resolve common facility needs quickly and efficiently—while knowing when to escalate items that require specialized expertise.

Pay Range: Salary 56,160 annually 

Shift: Flexible

What's the Job?

• Support routine facility maintenance and inspections by completing minor repairs and addressing recurring work orders across the site.
• Handle office furniture relocation, assembly, adjustment, and minor repair to keep workspaces functional and ready.
• Perform minor building repairs including floor, wall, ceiling, door, and hardware fixes, along with general maintenance activities that do not require specialized licensing.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs. 
• Assist with lighting changes and minor lighting maintenance where appropriate, and complete routine emergency/exit light inspections and battery checks as required.
• Complete scheduled safety-related tasks such as monthly visual fire extinguisher inspections with documentation, and routine eyewash station inspections and basic upkeep in accordance with site procedures.

What's Needed?

• Multi-skilled, hands-on facilities maintenance experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Comfort working through a broad mix of routine repairs, inspections, and work orders with limited supervision.
• Strong safety awareness and the ability to recognize when work should be escalated to a licensed or specialized provider.
• Ability to respond to routine facilities work orders, document completed activities, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Willingness to assist the Chief Engineer with preventive maintenance and inspections when needed and appropriate.
