Handyman

As a Handyman, I’m excited to support a state-of-the-art facility in Hilliard, Ohio, where my work helps keep the Learning & Development environment running smoothly for employees and visitors. I enjoy staying proactive, responding to maintenance needs quickly, and taking pride in keeping spaces organized, safe, and well maintained.

Job Title: Handyman

Location: Hilliard, OH 

Pay Range: $30.00

Shift: 1st with on call availability 
Duration: 6-month contract

What's the Job?

• Perform general repairs and preventive maintenance across the facility, including drywall, painting, doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, and ceiling tiles.
• Handle minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks within your skill level.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize work orders to keep operations moving.
• Assemble, move, and set up furniture and equipment for training rooms and events.
• Maintain clean, organized storage and common areas, monitor facility conditions, and flag larger issues to facility management or outside vendors.

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of experience in handyman, building maintenance, or facilities work.
• Working knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting.
• Ability to read basic work orders and manage multiple tasks independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with professionalism in a corporate environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and climb ladders; own basic hand tools preferred.
