Machine Maintenance

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a Machine Maintenance associate to join their team. As a Machine Maintenance associate, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production and operational teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Maintenance 

Location: Des Plaines, IL

Pay Range: $29.50

Shift: Mid shift 2:00p-10:00p

What's the Job?

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and evaluate machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment to identify root causes of issues
• Disassemble machines and repair or replace broken parts to ensure optimal operation
• Adjust functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary for proper functioning
• Clean, lubricate, and order replacement parts for machinery maintenance
• Inspect completed repairs and return equipment to specifications, adapting procedures as needed

What's Needed?

• Minimum 2 years of prior machine maintenance experience
• Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools effectively
• Strong mechanical and electrical understanding of complex equipment
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills with strong problem-solving abilities
