Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Abbott Park, IL

Pay Range: $34.56

Shift: 6am - 2:30pm

What's the Job?

• Maintain plant electrical and mechanical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair high-speed filling, packaging, and conveying machinery
• Rebuild and repair pumps, motors, and other mechanical components
• Assist outside repair personnel and maintain accurate work records

What's Needed?

• Technical degree with a minimum of two years of maintenance experience
• Experience with robotics and manufacturing/cleanroom environments
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use electrical and precision tools
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime, weekends, or extended hours
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
