Our client, a leading property management organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Level 2) to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician (Level 2), you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the residential community. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, technical proficiency, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Level 2)

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range:

Shift: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (Monday through Friday)

What's the Job?

  • Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and groundskeeping to ensure property upkeep.
  • Replace faucets, toilets, outlets, and light fixtures, and diagnose and repair leaks or electrical issues.
  • Maintain the property's curb appeal by mowing lawns, weeding, planting flowers, and trash pickup.
  • Conduct unit turnovers by performing clean-outs and light rehab work to prepare units for new residents.
  • Complete work orders efficiently and independently, following safety protocols and conducting inventory checks.

What's Needed?

  • 2–3 years of general labor experience, such as landscaping or property maintenance.
  • 1–2 years of basic residential plumbing experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Basic technology skills and a valid driver’s license.
  • Experience with plumbing, including knowledge of overflow relief gullies, is required.
