Paint Maintenance Technician

Our client, within the manufacturing industry is seeking a Paint Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Paint Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Paint Dept supporting Maintenance efforts. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years with industrial maintenance, PLC experience and willingness to learn which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Paint Maintenance Technician (Shift 7 on, 7 off)

Location: Nashville, IL

Pay Range: $80,000 to $85,000 depending on experience in addition to a signing bonus.

What’s the Job?
Performs preventative maintenance on paint application equipment to prevent unscheduled downtime.
Takes appropriate corrective action to keep paint production operating at its fullest capacity.
Troubleshoots and repairs fluid delivery equipment as needed or required. Maintains and rebuilds paint application equipment (paint guns, valves, fluid regulators, pumps, etc.).
Requisitions necessary parts and determines required inventory levels. 

What’s Needed?
Required - Two years' experience working with paint equipment and/or mechanical equipment.
Required - One-year continuous work experience.
Must have good problem-solving skills.
Must be able to read and comprehend written procedures as well as mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic prints.
Must work well with others.
Must have good communication skills – both verbal and written.
