Refurbishment Technician

Our client, a leader in logistics and equipment refurbishment, is seeking a Refurbishment Technician to join their team. As a Refurbishment Technician, you will be part of the Logistics Support Department supporting equipment testing, redeployment, and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Refurbishment Technician

Location: Livonia, MI

Pay Range: $21-$23 depending on experience

Shift: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Schedule all freight pickups and redeployments to ensure timely logistics flow
• Follow up on cancellation pickups and coordinate necessary adjustments
• Support the shipping depot for vending spare parts when needed
• Test, clean, and redeploy MSC vending equipment to maintain operational readiness
• Diagnose and replace failed parts, scrap equipment that cannot be redeployed, and stage outbound crates and equipment

What's Needed?

• Experience in logistics scheduling and management
• Proficiency with computers and ability to multitask across multiple projects
• Warehouse experience and mechanical background
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and adaptability to changing workloads
