Shop Helper

Our client, a leading organization in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, is seeking a Shop Helper to join their team. As a Shop Helper, you will be part of the workshop support team, assisting technicians and ensuring smooth shop operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Assist with the repair, maintenance, and testing of heavy equipment and components.
• Support equipment inspections and troubleshooting activities.
• Help dismantle and reassemble machinery using hand tools and lifting equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and parts replacement.
• Support yard operations such as loading, unloading, and organizing materials.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in mechanical, industrial, automotive, construction, or heavy equipment is preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds and work in physically demanding environments.
