Boiler Operator Helper

Our client, a leading organization in education, is seeking a Boiler Operator Helper to join their team just in time for Heating Season! As a Boiler Operator Helper, you will be part of the Utility Department supporting operational excellence and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Boiler Operator Helper

Location: Kutztown, PA

Pay Range: $17.00-$25.00

Shift:  8 Hour Swing Shift

What's the Job?

• Operate boilers and maintain proper steam pressure and water levels in a generating plant.
• Assist in the operation of electric generation equipment and monitor boiler plant systems.
• Keep detailed records of steam production and fuel consumption.
• Make minor adjustments and repairs to boilers and related equipment.
• Report potential problems and assist in troubleshooting boiler plant issues.

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform semi-skilled work in a boiler plant environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures and operational instructions.
• Strong record-keeping and observational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions from supervisors.
• Prior experience in a similar role is not required but is a plus.
