Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Forklift Mechanic to join their team. As a Forklift Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair forklift equipment to keep material handling operations running reliably.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service tasks to reduce downtime and support production goals.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues, including components that affect safe and efficient forklift performance.
  • Support maintenance priorities by responding to equipment needs during scheduled production windows.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance practices and follow established safety procedures while working on equipment.

What's Needed?

  • Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing forklift or similar industrial material handling equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and complete repairs effectively.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a production environment with attention to detail.
  • Comfort working scheduled shifts and adapting to changing maintenance priorities.
  • Willingness to collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support continuous workflow.
