Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, industrial operations is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance organization supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, proven troubleshooting expertise, and solid electrical knowledge, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Tampa, FL

Pay Range: $28.70-32.39/hour

Shift: 7am-7pm ot 7pm-7am 2-2-3 rotation

What's the Job?

• Follow all safety rules and practices while performing maintenance work.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components, and observing operations for vibrations and noise levels.
• Support plant operations by performing emergency/breakdown maintenance as necessary.
• Accurately use measurement and test equipment to diagnose issues and verify work.
• Complete electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed.

What's Needed?

• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work on rotating and stationary equipment.
• Troubleshooting expertise to identify root causes and solve problems efficiently.
• Electrical knowledge to support repairs and installations safely and accurately.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as required.
• Ability to maintain clean, organized work areas and accurately complete maintenance records and paperwork.
