Our client, a packaging company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant maintenance. The ideal candidate will have good mentoring skills, strong mechanical skillset and predictive maintenance which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor (1st shift)
Location: Hammond, IN
Pay Range: $90/k + bonus
What’s the Job?
- Assist in employee development, including motivation, training, and discipline.
- Schedule daily employee job assignments and complete all department reports.
- Provide technical support by training and troubleshooting to maintenance and manufacturing personnel.
- Interprets operational manuals, manufacturer’s specifications, blueprints, and schematics for manufacturing equipment
- Plans work against machine breakdowns, PM’s equipment installation / removal to meet plant scheduling needs.

- Reliability/Predictive maintenance methodology
- Strong technical/mechanical abilities
- CMMS experience
- Experience establishing department policies and procedures
