Maintenance Tech

Our client, [Industry Descriptor] is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the maintenance and facilities support group, helping keep daily operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, practical hands-on skills, and a commitment to safe, dependable service—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Tech

Location: Newport News, VA

Pay Range: $20/hr

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance tasks across multiple trades, including painting, plumbing, and electrical work
• Support general construction and facility upkeep to maintain a clean, functional environment
• Assist with landscaping and general outdoor maintenance as needed
• Complete cleaning duties and help maintain overall site readiness
• Handle trash pickup and removal to support safe, organized grounds

What's Needed?

• Experience performing maintenance work, with hands-on skills in painting, plumbing, and electrical tasks
• Ability to support general construction and facility improvement activities
• Comfort working on cleaning and landscaping tasks to keep the property in good condition
• Reliability and readiness to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Strong attention to safety and quality while completing maintenance assignments
