Manpower is currently partnering with a global manufacturing company located in the Bellville IL area.

Our client, global corrugated paper manufacturer, is seeking to hire several Multi Craft Maintenance Mechanicians to join their industrial maintenance team.  As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance, addressing any emergency breakdowns as well as following all safety rules, policies and practices.

The ideal candidate will bring previous industrial maintenance experience AND strong electrical/PLC controls knowledge and a positive attitude which will align successfully with the company’s culture and environment.

Pay Rate:                          $32-38/hour DOE
Shift:                                  3:00pm-11:00pm / 11:00pm – 7:00am Monday - Friday


What’s the Job?

• Following all safety rules and practices
• Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels
• Performing emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
• Accurately using measurement and test equipment
• Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed
• Maintain clean and organized work area as part of completing assigned tasks
• Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork
• Troubleshooting and solving problems

• 3+ yrs of experience in a mechanical and/or electrical maintenance position.
• Strong troubleshooting skills within the mechanical and electrical areas to include pneumatics, hydraulics and PLCs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED required.  Additional training in the trades is preferred.
