Our client is seeking a Service technician to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. As a Service technician, you will be part of a field-focused team supporting rail vehicle systems and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will bring strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, the ability to interpret schematics and engineering documentation, and the drive to execute field modifications with minimal supervision while maintaining safety and quality.

Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri)
What's the Job?
- Perform field modifications, retrofits, and upgrades on rail vehicles and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems from 24VDC control circuits through 480VAC power systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical system issues.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and installation instructions to execute modifications.
- Verify proper installation and functionality through testing and commissioning, including documenting work performed, deficiencies, corrective actions, and results.
What's Needed?
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems from 24VDC through 480VAC.
- Proven troubleshooting experience across electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering change documentation.
- Experience performing field modifications and validating system functionality.
- Skilled use of electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers) and mechanical aptitude with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
