Sanitation worker

Our client, a food processing industry leader, is seeking a Sanitation worker to join their team. As a Sanitation worker, you will be part of the sanitation department supporting food safety and cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate will have dependability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sanitation worker

Location: Anacortes, WA

Pay Range: $21.5

Shift: Monday–Friday (some Saturdays) | 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM

What's the Job?

• Operate high-powered pressure washers to clean and sanitize production areas
• Wear full rain gear while performing sanitation tasks
• Maintain cleanliness of food processing equipment, floors, walls, and drains
• Follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols (including proper chemical usage)
• Dispose of waste properly and assist with pest control measures

• Dependable and punctual – essential for our small team
• Physically capable of bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Good work ethic, resourcefulness, and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety guidelines
