Utility

Our client, a manufacturing organization dedicated to quality and efficiency, is seeking a Utility to join their team. As a Utility, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring smooth operations within the plate department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Utility

Location: Folkston, GA

Pay Range: $16

Shift: Night shift from 11:30 pm to 7:00 am, Monday through Saturday

What's the Job?

• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
• Clean, sweep, and mop the production floor to maintain a safe and organized environment
• Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas efficiently
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and mark information on containers
• Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band them securely

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
• Basic reading and interpretation skills for safety rules, forms, and labels
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work in a manufacturing environment
• Willingness to perform all assigned duties with a positive attitude
