HR Benefits & Payroll

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a dedicated HR Benefits & Payroll professional to join their team. As an HR Benefits & Payroll specialist, you will be an integral part of the HR department supporting the PEO Implementation Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: HR Benefits & Payroll

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range:

Shift: M-F 8 - 5pm

What's the Job?

• Support the PEO Benefits & Payroll functions by pulling relevant data from systems and uploading it to the PEO platform.
• Assist with the enrollment process by providing necessary information via email and monitoring enrollment status if system access is granted.
• Support the payroll process by retrieving historical payroll data and processing supplemental pay and one-off payments.
• Verify employee information, including direct deposit and W-4 data, to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Gather earning and deduction codes required for payroll setup and ongoing maintenance.

What's Needed?

• Experience with HR benefits and payroll systems or related data management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to support data retrieval and upload processes accurately.
• Effective communication skills for email correspondence and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of payroll components such as direct deposits, W-4 forms, and earning/deduction codes is preferred.
