Our client is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting production teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality, the ability to follow documented procedures, and a detail-focused mindset that helps ensure products meet required standards.

Pay Range: $24
Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
What's the Job?
- Support the established Quality policy and fulfill responsibilities as required in the documented quality system manual, directives, and work instructions.
- Select products and prepare samples for tests at specified stages in the production process, then test products for dimensions, performance, and mechanical or chemical characteristics per required standards.
- Set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, and/or material characteristics per required standards.
- Assure 100% compliance to all applicable standards, including ASTM, NSF, UL, and others as required.
- Record test data, apply statistical quality control procedures, evaluate results, and complete reports to validate compliance or indicate deviations from existing standards.
What's Needed?
- Ability to operate within a documented quality system and follow work instructions accurately.
- Experience performing destructive and nondestructive testing and interpreting results against required standards.
- Strong attention to detail for recording test data, completing reports, and preparing graphs or charts for analysis.
- Comfort working with production teams to raise concerns to management when quality issues arise and support operators in solving quality problems.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and follow safety policies and procedures (including operating a lift truck as required).
