Quality Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturer of home and personal care products, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality organization supporting day-to-day quality execution that helps ensure products are produced in alignment with cGMP and product specifications. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, a commitment to accurate documentation, and the drive to catch issues early so quality is built in from the start.

Job Title: Quality Technician

Location: Commack, NY

Pay Range: $20/hr 

Shifts Available: 

• Friday - Sunday, 6am - 6pm 
• Friday - Sunday, 6pm - 6am 

What's the Job?

• Conduct approval of pre-start-up activities, including line/room clearance and initial equipment checks.
• Review in-process batch documentation in real time to confirm compliance with product specifications, good documentation practices, company SOPs, and cGMP requirements.
• Discuss errors, review production logbooks for accuracy and compliance, and collect data to support batch record release.
• Perform regular quality line audits of in-process and finished goods against predefined characteristics, documenting results and noting out-of-spec conditions or other observations.
• Support quality testing and validations, including leak testing, lot code validation, control weight validation, and monitoring metal detection equipment performance (as applicable).

What's Needed?

• 1–2 years of quality inspection, quality control, or manufacturing experience required
• Fluency in English and Spanish desired.
• High attention to detail with a basic understanding of measurement concepts (length, width, height, and weight).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to quality operations.
• Ability to follow directions, communicate clearly in English (verbal and written), troubleshoot issues, and recognize when to escalate concerns.
