Custodian

Our client, Industrial is seeking a Custodian to join their team. As a Custodian, you will be part of the Facilities Support supporting the community facilities. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Custodian

Location: Manistee, Michigan

Pay Range: $15.00 + based on experience

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Clean and maintain offices, hallways, restrooms, meeting spaces, and other facility areas
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners as needed
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and operate floor care equipment including buffers and steam cleaners
• Dust and polish furniture, cabinets, windowsills, mirrors, and fixtures
• Assist with room setups for meetings and special events

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of one year of custodial, janitorial, or related cleaning experience
• Valid Michigan driver's license required
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation practices, and custodial equipment
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
