Janitor/Cleaner

Our client is seeking a Janitor/Cleaner to join their team. As a Janitor/Cleaner, you will be part of the facilities support team, helping keep residential hall restrooms and common areas clean, safe, and welcoming. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a dependable mindset—qualities that help you deliver consistent results during evening hours.

Job Title: Janitor/Cleaner

Location: Altoona, PA

Pay Range:  $15/hour

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday 7pm-11pm

What's the Job?

• Clean restrooms thoroughly, including fixtures, touchpoints, and high-traffic areas
• Clean and maintain common areas in residential halls to support a positive living environment
• Follow established cleaning procedures and use supplies appropriately to ensure consistent standards
• Keep work areas organized and report any issues or supply needs as they arise
• Maintain professionalism and reliability while working independently during evening hours

What's Needed?

• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday from 7pm to 11pm
• Comfort performing cleaning tasks with attention to detail and thoroughness
• Reliability and punctuality to support daily cleaning schedules
• Willingness to complete a standard 7-year background check with sex offender registry screening
• Ability to follow instructions and cleaning guidelines accurately
