Our client, Logistics and Freight Forwarding is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be part of the Operations team supporting customer shipment execution and documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong written communication, reliable organization, and a proactive problem-solving mindset that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Pay Range: 21-23 DOE

Shift: 8 hours inbetween 7am-6pm M-F

What's the Job?

  • Handle customer shipments from planning through movement, ensuring accurate execution and timely delivery follow-up.
  • Revise shipment instructions and quotes once received, request missing information as needed, and respond to customer emails in a timely manner.
  • Enter and maintain shipment data in CW1, create shipper/consignee/vendor records, open CONSOLs, and complete/update milestones.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments while ensuring import/export regulations compliance, including AES filing when applicable and AMS filing for shipments moving to the United States territory.
  • Generate shipment documentation (e.g., AWB, MBL, HBL, Delivery Order, Pickup Orders, pre-alerts) and follow up until cargo arrives, updating customers on delays and shipment status.

What's Needed?

  • At least one year of Logistics or freight forwarding experience.
  • At least one year of direct customer service experience.
  • At least one year of experience using logistics and supply chain management software (CW1).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (required).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
