Marketing Technology Specialist – Frederick, MD | Full-time | Onsite | $70-$78K

*This is a full-time permanent role with excellent benefits and career growth.

About the Role

Searching for an agency that gives you the reigns to build and own high-impact marketing systems? We are looking for a marketer-first technologist who connects data, automates workflows, and ensures every channel reaches maximum value.

You'll sit inside the delivery team alongside channel specialists and a Performance Marketing Strategist. When CRMs need configuring, you build it. When tracking breaks down, you fix it. This is a role where you can make a real difference.

What You'll Do

CRM & Marketing Automation

· Configure and manage CRMs across platforms — we adopt our clients’ preferred tools

· Build automation workflows: segmentation, triggers, lead routing, and lifecycle stages

· Train client teams to use their CRM to its full potential

Tracking, Analytics & Measurement

· Implement and QA conversion tracking through Google Tag Manager, GA4, and platform pixels

· Feed revenue data back into campaigns so teams optimize against real outcomes, not vanity metrics

· Surface insights that change what we do next — flag what's working, what's not, and where budget should move

Tech Stack, Integrations & AI

· Connect client systems through native integrations, APIs, or platforms like Zapier or Make

· Use AI tools daily — we're Claude enthusiasts, and helping lead the team's AI adoption is a genuine plus

· Jump into unfamiliar platforms and channels with a get-it-done attitude and come back with answers

What You Bring

· 3–5 years in digital marketing with meaningful hands-on time on the technical and measurement side

· Agency experience and certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or HubSpot are a strong plus

· Hands-on with Google Tag Manager and GA4 (event/conversion tracking setup and QA) and CRM administration

· Comfortable with Zapier or Make, with a solid grasp of lead tracking, attribution, and linking marketing to revenue

· Breadth across channels — some paid social, WordPress, or SEO exposure makes the technical work sharper

· A marketer's instinct who ties technical decisions to business outcomes and communicates clearly to clients and teammates

What’s in it for YOU?

A competitive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage, paid parental leave, 401(k) matching, PTO, company holidays, and ongoing support for education and professional development.

Great marketing runs on systems that work.

If you own and operate them, we'd love to talk.
