Our client, a healthcare and senior living provider, is seeking a Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the culinary support staff supporting senior residents' nutritional needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a passion for culinary excellence, and a caring attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook

Location: Gadsden, AL

Pay Range: $18.25/hour

Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, or 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Prepare nutritious, flavorful, and well-balanced meals for senior residents following established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Follow food safety regulations and client standards to ensure the highest quality in every dish served.
• Utilize scratch and batch cooking techniques to create therapeutic diets tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to support the overall dining experience and resident satisfaction.

What's Needed?

• Previous cooking experience in a restaurant or healthcare setting
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to support a team-oriented environment.
