Food Production Associate

Our client, food production and manufacturing environment is seeking a Food Production Associate to join their team. As a Food Production Associate, you will be part of the production team supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to follow written and oral instructions, and a team-first mindset that helps keep the line moving while meeting product specifications.

Job Title: Food Production Associate

Location: Petersburg, VA

Pay Range: $17.40

Shift: October through December. Day shift & Night Shift

What's the Job?

• Perform tasks as described and assigned by the Department Supervisor/Lead.
• Keep pace with the line while maintaining safe, efficient production.
• Work as a team player to help ensure product specifications are attained.
• Communicate well with other team members and assist other departments as assigned.
• Follow company GMPs, SOPs, Plant Rules, and Policies; keep the work area clean.

What's Needed?

• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Strive to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.
• Successful completion of screening requirements: background check and drug screen.
