Third Shift Quality Control Lab Technician

Our client, a manufacturing and quality-focused operation, is seeking a Third Shift Quality Control Lab Technician to join their team. As a Third Shift Quality Control Lab Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control team supporting laboratory testing and process assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work safely and independently, and the drive to follow complex instructions—all of which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Third Shift Quality Control Lab Technician

Location: Rockwood, MI

Pay Range: $18.00/hr.

Shift: Third Shift (Monday through Friday, 11pm - 7:30am; Monday shift starts on Sunday at 11PM; Friday shift starts Thursday at 11PM and ends on Friday at 7:30AM)

What's the Job?

• Obtain samples for analyses to support quality control and process needs.
• Prepare samples for analyses with care and consistency.
• Run routine laboratory analyses to determine chemical and physical characteristics of diatomaceous earth.
• Update computer database with sample analysis data accurately and on time.
• Prepare written reports for work activities and complete other duties as assigned.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working safely is a priority—follow safety procedures and lab expectations.
• Ability to work with a high degree of independence while maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
