Upholstery Trainee

Our client, a leading custom furniture manufacturer, is seeking several Upholstery Trainees to join their team. As an Upholstery Trainee, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Upholstery and Manufacturing Teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Upholstery Trainee
Location: Lenoir, NC
Pay Range: Starting at $16.00-$18.00 with increases as you learn

What's the Job?

• Learn upholstery techniques for high-quality furniture production
• Measure, cut, and apply fabric, leather, and other upholstery materials
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect finished products for quality and craftsmanship standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety guidelines

What's Needed?

• Ability to learn new skills and follow detailed instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude
• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
