Assembler

Our client, a leading manufacturer of laboratory equipment, is seeking an Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production of high-quality laboratory products. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Fort Scott, KS

Pay Range: $17

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Day Shift, Overtime on Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform non-repetitive assembly of laboratory equipment according to blueprint specifications  
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and work instructions
• Troubleshoot and repair assembly issues with some assistance
• Select appropriate tools, materials, and equipment for assembly tasks
• Ensure assembled products meet quality and performance standards

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of industrial assembly experience
• High School diploma or GED
• Knowledge of product assembly, blueprints, and schematics
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong hand-eye coordination and familiarity with hand tools and wiring
