Assembler

Our client, a leading manufacturer in Elyria, OH, is seeking a Assembler to join their team for the rest of the year. As a Assembler, you will be part of the Production team supporting the assembly of welding units and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and a hands-on mindset that helps keep production moving.

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Elyria, OH

Pay Range: $18.50

Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm (Monday – Friday)

What's the Job?

• Assemble electrical or mechanical components in the production of welding units, accessories, and related equipment as instructed by a supervisor.
• Operate hand tools and power tools to assemble welding units, accessories, and final assemblies.
• Read and follow instructions for assembling components and final assemblies, including following verbal direction and production procedures.
• Operate material handling equipment such as industrial lift trucks, overhead cranes, dollies, and handcarts as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace while following all health and safety regulations; perform other related duties as assigned.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior assembly experience preferred.
• Prior experience with hand tools and power tools preferred.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Forklift experience preferred.
