Assembler

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Farmville, NC

Pay Range: $14.50

Shift: M-F 7AM-3:30PM

What's the Job?

• Perform a wide range of assembly tasks throughout the plant, requiring some skills and minimal training.
• Work from written or verbal orders, prints, instructions, and directions to complete tasks accurately.
• Assist on machinery, package products, transport or store materials, and support shipping and receiving operations.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintain equipment when necessary, including crating and moving materials.
• Use air tools, saws, drills, and hand tools safely and effectively while following all safety protocols.

What's Needed?

• Ability to read and write effectively.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions.
• Ability to read a measuring tape and inspect materials accurately.
• Capability to lift up to 75 pounds intermittently and perform repetitive bending, reaching, stretching, lifting, and twisting.
• Ability to stand for long periods, approximately 50% of the workday.
