Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and assembly services, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to production safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Pay Range: $20.9
Shift: Days (40 hour)
What's the Job?
- Maintain manufacturing processes to support safety, delivery, cost, and quality goals
- Operate complex test equipment and perform part counts
- Inspect in-process products for quality assurance and maintain 5S standards
- Work with assembly drawings and documentation to build electro-mechanical assemblies
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and document non-conformances
What's Needed?
- Ability to safely use common hand and electronic assembly tools
- Experience with cycle count programs and problem resolution
- Ability to pick inventory parts and assist with packaging large instruments
- Experience working in a clean room environment
- Ability to write engineering change requests for production documentation or design issues
