Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist to join their team. As a Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist, you will be part of the Production team supporting Door Unit Assembly. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to follow SOPs with precision, and the drive to stay consistent and reliable in a fast-paced environment—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist

Location: North Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $20.50 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift: 4:00:00 PM- 2:15:00 AM, Monday-Thursday. If overtime is needed they will work on Friday.

What's the Job?

  • Work on an assigned production line and follow SOP for your specific job assignment.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble door units while ensuring components are placed in the correct position per SOP.
  • Verify materials by reading the bill of materials and confirm materials meet quality expectations.
  • Assemble fabricated parts to larger or heavy subassemblies and complete units; test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  • Palletize, wrap, and label units as needed; clean up the work area at shift end and maintain a safe, clean environment.

What's Needed?

  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Able to stand for the entire shift and perform repetitive motions (bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers).
  • Ability to read and understand bill of materials, read a tape measure, and use basic math skills.
  • Comfort working in an open facility environment with varying weather and temperature conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, and cold.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and demonstrate solid teamwork abilities with regular attendance and timeliness.
