Assembly Worker II

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and assembly, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Worker II to join their team. As an Assembly Worker II, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the assembly and testing of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Worker II

Location: Wichita, KS

Pay Range: $23.22-$25.22 per hour

Shift: 1st and 3rd shift available 

What's the Job?

• Perform wiring, assembly, finishing, welding, and testing operations on company products.
• Work from engineering specifications, sketches, schematic diagrams, verbal instructions, or detailed assembly drawings.
• Set-up and arc weld parts, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies, ensuring proper fitting, aligning, and adjusting for optimal functionality.
• Utilize miscellaneous assembly tools, electrical measuring and test equipment, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect parts, maintain quality standards, and ensure inventory control while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment.

What's Needed?

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical assembly practices.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and OT as required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow safety rules and maintain a safe working environment.
