What You'll Do

As an Assistant Production / Machine Operator, you will play a key role in supporting production operations and ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up machines at the beginning of each shift to ensure proper operation
• Monitor production equipment throughout the day for quality and efficiency
• Perform routine machine cleaning before, during, and after shifts
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report concerns as needed
• Conduct preventative maintenance and basic machine adjustments
• Perform quality checks and random product inspections
• Complete safety inspections and follow all workplace safety procedures
• Ensure finished products meet quality standards
• Support production goals and maintain a clean, organized work area

Training will be provided on 1st shift before transferring to the assigned production schedule.

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who possess:

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with manufacturing equipment
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions or manuals
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Ability to distinguish between colors
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to safely handle and work around heavy equipment
• Manufacturing, machine operation, production, maintenance, or mechanical experience preferred
